RCMC Registration
It is mandatory for Indian exporters to obtain an RCMC to avail benefits under the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) and to be recognized as an authorized exporter.
What is RCMC?
RCMC (Registration Cum Membership Certificate) is a certificate issued by Export Promotion Councils (EPCs), Commodity Boards, and other authorities under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
Importance of RCMC Registration
Eligibility for Export Benefits – Required to avail various incentives, subsidies, and duty exemptions under the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP).
Recognition as an Exporter – Serves as proof that the exporter is registered with an authorized Export Promotion Council.
Access to Government Schemes – Enables exporters to participate in government schemes like MEIS, RoDTEP, and duty drawback benefits.
Participation in Trade Fairs & Exhibitions – Many EPCs provide support and sponsorship for international trade fairs.
